Chemical Peel
A chemical peel is a minimally invasive procedure that helps improve the appearance of skin. The procedure involves carefully applying combinations of powerful solutions to the face, décolletage (neck and chest), or hands to remove dead skin cells. The solutions penetrate into the skin, causing dead skin cells to peel off. The new skin is smoother and more refined-looking.

During the procedure, your doctor carefully applies combinations of powerful solutions to the face, décolletage (neck and chest), or hands to remove dead skin cells. The solutions penetrate into the skin, causing dead skin cells to peel off. The new skin is smoother and more refined-looking. Application takes 10-15 minutes and is kept on for 30-60 minutes.
Patients should avoid use of the following products and procedures on the area to be peeled for 5-7 days prior to the peel:

There are certain products that may increase skin sensitivity and/or cause a stronger reaction to the peel if used up to the day of the peel.
