What is Sunekos?
Sunekos is a new, intelligent injectable substance containing a potent cocktail of amino acids and hyaluronic acid (HA). These are vital building blocks of healthy and hydrated skin. Sunekos works by stimulating the fibroblasts in the skin to encourage it to produce a complete mix of collagen and elastin, restoring the vibrancy, youthful glow and health of the skin in a course of 4 treatment sessions every 7 to 10 days.
What is Sunekos® used to treat?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of our skin which draws in water to act as a natural moisturiser, keeping skin hydrated and plump, both of which are signs of youthful skin. Hyaluronic acid is made by our bodies daily, but, as we age, we produce less natural hyaluronic acid, and our skin suffers in appearance because of it. Amino acids are made by our bodies and are essential for the creation of healthy skin, acting as the precursors to the formation of new collagen and elastin. Sunekos® offers two different treatment options for skin regeneration, which can be performed separately or in combination – Sunekos® 200 and Sunekos® 1200.
Sunekos® 200 contains a low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and Sunekos® 1200 is a medium molecular weight. The former can be used alone to treat the face, neck, décolletage and hands and is great for younger people. If additional ‘cushioning’ is required in the case of lax, sagging skin or deeper lines and wrinkles, then the Sunekos® 1200 can be combined to give extra scaffold support for the dermal biogenesis.

Although Sunekos contains hyaluronic acid, which is present in most modern, temporary dermal fillers, it differs in that it does not physically plump the skin, but creates a more natural result by communicating with the skin on an intercellular level so that it can heal and mend itself. This is due to the added amino acids present in Sunekos which are vital in the maintenance of healthy, youthful-looking skin.
You’ll start to see results as soon as 7 – 10 days after treatment, which will improve over time. These results usually last for around six months, though a wide variety of factors can have an impact on this, including lifestyle such as smoking and drinking, sun exposure and the unique properties of your skin.
In clinical trials, results showed that after 10 days after the first treatment session with Sunekos there is a significant improvement in deep skin hydration and skin surface hydration, which remains present, even after 6 months.

There are two types of SuneKos; SuneKos 200 and SuneKos 1200. SuneKos 200 is used to treat around the eyes, face, neck, chest and hands and is perfect for earlier signs of ageing. SuneKos 1200 is used in conjunction with SuneKos 200 if your skin needs extra structural support to improve sagging skin or if you have deeper, more advanced wrinkles. Your specific requirements will be assessed and discussed with you prior to the treatment.
You can see a marked improvement as the treatments progress, but for the very best results possible, the complete course of 4 sessions must be completed in the time allocated.
